I always thought that it will be really nice to play, slow down, loop, change keys directly from iPod. Last week, it dawned on me that there might be a iPod app out there that can do this. With some researching, I finally found one! It is iLift app. It does exactly what I was looking for and it is free!. (Free version only lets you add 3 songs in its playlist, but it is enough for me for now) I hook this up with my POD Live x3 playing "Savior of the World" by Ben Cantelon from key of B to G and it worked really well. I was able to loop the intro so that I could repeat it again and again.
It is really difficult to practice with songs with keys that we don't really sing with. iLift will help you to do this much easier. Try it out and let me know how it you like it. Enjoy!
I have heard that my free program for the worship leader, Access Praise!, was not working properly for some reason for a few people. I repackaged the install program with the latest Microsoft Access Runtime in Office 2007 environment. I hope this will help some of you who love the program but was not able to use in Vista or the latest office environment. Also, hopefully this version has addressed some bugs that I was not even aware of.

I built this program for my own use and it has been very helpful for many years. I needed something simple to create song sets for Sundays. This program saves me so much time every week.
You can do the followings with Access Praise! 2008. 1. Create multiple song sets. 2. Manage Worship songs with chords, lyrics, titles, Keys, and more. 3. Keep track of song sets with calendars. 4. Print song sets with chords and lyrics or lyrics only for distribution. 5. Print chord book, song sheets, and chord sheets. 6. Reports songs used for year. 7. Search songs.
I currently have about 600 songs in the database. (Sorry, they are not loaded in the distributed version you are about to download) It is so easy to create a set with this. -Here is a real quick user guide. Before you start you need to... 1. Click button to enter your songs in Lyrics/Chords and Lyrics fields, and whatever information you have about the song. Title, Authors, and etc. 2. Click button to put your church name and CCLI# -How to create a song set 1. Choose event type from "Event" dropdown box. 2. Click on the date from the calendar to choose the date of the event. 3. Search for songs by clicking button for title or going to Edit --> Find for other fields. Click button to start new search. 4. Once you find the song by going forward or backward on the records, click on "Add to Song Set" button with the order of the song. 5. The song will be added to "Song Set" window. If you need to make comments for the song, you can scroll to the right in the "Song Set" window and put comments in "Comments" fields. You can also add extra lyrics in "Additional Verse" column here. 6. Once all the songs added, edit "Order" column to change order of the song and click button to reorder the set. Delete songs by clicking button next to the song. 7. Click on "Set w/ Chords" or "Set w/ Lyrics" button for print or distribution.
All other functions are pretty intuitive. (If not, please let me know) If you are not sure of what the button does, mouse over the button about 2 seconds and it will display what the button is for.
-Installation 0. YOU DON"T NEED MICROSOFT ACCESS INSTALLED TO RUN THIS PROGRAM. You need Windows XP though. 1. Download Access Praise! 2008.zip below. 2. Unzip and double click on SETUP.EXE. 3. Follow instructions. 3. That's it! (Keep your installation files for uninstall) -Uninstallation 1. Go to Control Panel. 2. Choose "Add and Remove Program". 3. Find Access Praise! 2008 and click on "Remove" button.
Right click HERE and "Save As..." to download Access Praise! 2008 [37 MB]. Enjoy!
